Chatstate messages does not work properly. For example if I'm on private chat with someone and then change tab so that I no longer chat with that person he sees me as "...is composing a message". Tkabber don't seem to send chatstate when I pause writing message or when I close tkabber or don't pay attentation to chat window. Also chat states seem to vanish too quickly. States like gone, inactive etc. should be on the top of the tab as long as the tab is there, now states seem to vanish quite fast. I found out these bugs as chatted with user who uses gajim (tkabber<->gajim) if that is any help. sgolovan (claiming to be Sergei Golovan) added on 2007-07-23 07:19:42: Tkabber has implemented <active/> and <composing/> events only. Other events aren't sent at all. And I'm not going to add support of more chatstate eventa in the nearest future. But patches are welcome :) anonymous added on 2007-07-23 08:04:36: (In reply to comment #1) > Tkabber has implemented <active/> and <composing/> events only. Other > events aren't sent at all. But patches are welcome :) Ok fair enough, but still when I change tab the state should change to active from composing (since I'm not composing message anymore). It is annoying to the other person if she seems me as "..composing message" all the time. About the other chat states, I meant other's (not mine) states vanishing too quickly from the top of the tab. |
