Using the package on other systems

Some parts of the piio package will also work on other linux systems.

twowire

The twowire command and the i2c modules based on it work on any linux machine with a compatible USB to I2C interface. These are the known options:

• The i2c-mp-usb interface by Thomas Fischl.
• A Raspberry Pi Pico running the rp2040-i2c-interface firmware by Nicolai Electronics.
