This operator returns the floor (i.e., the greatest integer less than or 
equal to its argument) if its argument has a numerical value. For 
positive numbers, this is equivalent to 
<A HREF=r37_0082.html>fix</A>. For non-numeric 
arguments, the value is an expression in the original operator.
