The <em>off</em> command is used to turn switches off.

syntax: </H3>

<em>off</em>&lt;switch&gt;{,&lt;switch&gt;}*

&lt;switch&gt; can be any <em>switch</em> name. There is no problem if the 
switch is already off. If the switch name is mistyped, an error message is 
given.
