Usage of the P2Dgizmo

Normal (digit-by-digit) dialling

To dial any digit, pull the dial rotor from the corresponding hole to the stop, and release it immediately.
You will hear a DTMF tone when the rotor reaches its resting position.
Repeat these steps for each digit in the phone number.

Dialling special keys '*' and '#'

To dial a '*', pull the rotor at hole '1', and hold it for at least 2 seconds.
When you hear a short (200msec @ ~1 KHz) beep, you can release the rotor.
You will hear a DTMF tone when the rotor reaches its resting position.

To dial a '#', pull the rotor at hole '2', and do the same steps as above.

Program a speed-dial number

You can store 7 speed-dial numbers of up to 30 digits in the P2Dgizmo.
To enter the programming mode for speed-dial numbers, pull the rotor at hole '0', and hold it for at least 2 seconds.
When you hear a short (200msec @ ~1 KHz) beep, you can release the rotor.
When the rotor reaches it's resting position, you will hear a short 6-tone ascending-descending sequence.

Dial a number between (and including) '3' and '9'. You will hear a short 3-tone ascending sequence.
Now dial the phone-number that you want to program.
When you're done programming, dial the '0' as a special key (hold for 2 seconds before releasing).
This action will cause the programmed phone-number to be stored in the P2Dgizmo.

Using a speed-dial number

To use any of the speed-dial numbers programmed under digits '3', '4', ..., '9',
dial the corresponding digit as a special key (hold for 2 seconds before releasing).
When the dial-rotor reaches its rest position, the complete number stored under the corresponding memory-location will be dialled in one go.
