<h2>Node states</h2>
A pico node can be in the following states:
<dl>
 <dt>Initial
  <dd>The node is waiting to determine the bus state.
 <dt>Idle
  <dd>The node isn't active
 <dt>Competing
  <dd>The bus is in the master election state and the node is competing to become the master
 <dt>Listening
  <dd>The bus is in the master election state and the node is listing to determine if it's addressed by the master.
 <dt>Master
  <dd>The bus is bound and the node has become the master
 <dt>Slave
  <dd>The bus is bound and the node was targeted as an slave node.
