1 Introduction

nFORTH is an attempt to create an easy to understand FORTH environment for the Arduino MKRZERO. nFORTH is a direct descendant of the wonderful eFORTH by C.H.Ting with some additions from the traditional Fig-FORTH as well as support for Arduino's built-in functions.

Main features:

nFORTH is a meta-compiler i.e. it compiles itself from its own FORTH source code
nFORTH runs on Windows, Linux and MKRZERO (with the main target being the Arduino)
