| 16:57 | It turns out that HH_INITIALIZE and HH_UNINITIALIZE are optional, and are for putting HTML Help into "single-threaded" mode. Furthermore, this requires extra work from the application (message pumping via HH_PRETRANSLATEMESSAGE). Thus, remove them and run Help in a secondary thread. This means: - starting up PuTTY when the Default Settings are launchable still brings up the config box, and you have to hit Open to actually launch that session - double-clicking on Default Settings from the config box will load them but not launch them.
