Differences Between Tk and PTK
- Method and options must be spelled out.
- Only the grid geometry manager is supported.
- grid slave ?slave ...? ?options? is not supported, you need to use grid configure slave ?slave ...? ?options?
- The configure method on widgets returns a list of tripplets since the option database is not supported.
- The -class is not supported for any widget. The proper way to do this is to subclass the widget. See Subclassing Widgets for more information on how to do this.
- Other options that really do not make sense in the PTK world are also not supported. Please compare individual widget options.
