Generating correct hashes is no easy task. Aside from needing to look up every codepoint of a string in the correct code table, correctly bitshifting isn't likely to happen by hand. This tool quickly and correctly generates hashes for use with BouncerBot's Address Filter and Name Filter.


Navigate to the Hasher directory of a checkout, or wherever you downloaded the app.js of the Hasher project. Then using a command line environment like Command Prompt, PowerShell, or any terminal emulator, run app.js along with every word to be hashed as command arguments. Assuming you're using node.js to run this, it will look like this: node app.js 1234 example lane. Hasher will then print out the hash for each word given. These can be copied right into BouncerBot.
